Los Molles

The Los Molles thermal complex is enclosed in a valley of great beauty located 50 kilometers from Malargue and has an infrastructure made up of three hotels. The oldest of them has thermal baths of two therapeutic kinds: sulfuric and ferrous pools. The complex is open all year round and is a place that invites the visitors to engage in diverse activities such as: mountain climbing, trekking, mountain bike rides, horse rides, speleology, all terrain 4x4 tours, skiing and fishing.

Laguna de la Niña Encantada

This small lake surrounded by rests of volcanic lava and close to the Salado River hides many treasures and old time legends.

 This accumulation of lava circling the lake comes from craters located to the North. Probably those volcanoes erupted in fairly recent geological epochs and spilt the incandescent material on the course of a stream feeding the lake.

 It is possible that it may be the very same stream which runs today underneath the rock mass and contributes its water, crystal clear, to this mirror which spills from the Eastern side on to the Salado River.
