How To Get There |
Las Leñas is located 450 kilometres from the provincial
Capital of Mendoza, in the District of Malargue, and
1,200 kilometres from Buenos Aires. The Valley can be
reached by plane, car or bus. There are flights from the
Argentine capital to the airport at Malargue and there
are transfer services from there to the ski centre.
During the high season, there are direct flights from
Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Malargue.
If one drives from Buenos Aires, one should take
National Routes 7, 188, 143, 144, 40 and, Provincial
Route 222 to Las Leñas 20 kilometres after passing Los
Molles.
If one drives South from Mendoza City, one should take
National Route 40, then 143 and 144, Route 40 again and
finally Route 222. |

Climate |
Winter days are temperate and nights are very cold.
Temperatures fluctuate between 11,7 degrees Centigrade
and Minus 1,4 degrees Centigrade. |

Skiing, hell-skiing, snowboard, snow motor bikes,
Tubbing (a game to be enjoyed sliding on snow during the
day and night with special inflatable rubber crafts),
four wheel cycles and excursions. |
